At byyker we are working with a number of insurance companies to create a stand alone cost effective insurance policy that will cover byyker members. Prior to this being in place the following terms are stipulated within our standard Terms & Conditions;
The hiree is responsible for the bike and any accessories and will be liable for any loss or damage to the bike or equipment. It is therefore imperative that bicycles are thoroughly checked before being ridden.
To ensure that byyker positively identifies every person on the site we retain proof of identity and bank details so that in the unlikely event of there being a disagreement between both parties we can identify individuals if requested.
Where damage occurs (on top of usual wear and tear) to a bike the hiree will be liable to pay in full the cost of any loss or damage of the bike/equipment.
When hiring a bike at byyker both parties agree to the above.
