Become a byyker

Or

byyker - Faq's

Becoming a byyker is easy; simply click on the “Become a byyker” link on the website and provide some basic information about yourself to set-up a byyker account. Once you have an account, you can now start listing your byyke’s on the platform.
It’s worth being prepared and having all the things you will require to hand before you begin to list your byyke:
  • The basic information about the byyke e.g. male/female, the frame type, size, type of tyres, pedals etc. If possible you should also add in your byykes serial number whcih is usually found at the base of the frame..
  • Something that will prove your address e.g. a bank statement, driving license etc.
  • A selfie of you holding the proof of address;
  • Your bank details or PayPal account details – so that we can pay your commissions

Don’t worry if you forget something, you can save your listing and return to it later.
There is no restriction on how many byykes you can list on byyker.com. Remember, listing a byyke only takes a few minutes to do.
Listing your byyke on byyker.com is completely FREE! byyker takes a 15% commission from every share and we will get paid when you do.
For example, if you charge £30 per day to rent out your byyke, we’ll take £6.00 from the rental and transfer £24 to you.
We take the funds from the hirer at the time of booking and make full settlement to you on the day that the hire commences. We will make the payment to your bank account or your PayPal account.
We are in discussions with a number of insurance companies to offer a specific byyker policy but unfortunately at the moment we are not able to cover you. Therefore we recommend the following actions are undertaken.
  • Request proof of ID from the hiree when they pick up your byyke
  • Exchange contact details and ensure the telephone number is correct
  • Reconfirm drop off time
  • Confirm that the rental request has been signed. The request lays out the hiree’s responsibilities including what will happen if there is damage to the byyke
